Christa Peterston graduated from the University of Houston and attended Houston Community College (HCC)- Coleman College of Health Sciences receiving an Associate of Applied Science degree for Occupational Therapy Assistant in December 2020. She completed the National Certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant and became a COTA in February 2021. Christa has experience working with the pediatric community in schools, homes, and with hippotherapy. She has also worked with adults in acute care, rehabilitation settings, and community settings.

Christa enjoyed living and working abroad in Surin and Ratchaburi Thailand from 2012-2015 teaching English at elementary schools.
